Dear Reader,
As we approached the twenty year mark for Anahat, we began to explore both the beneath and beyond of the work we have done thus far with organisations. What are the underpinnings of the solutions we offer to our clients? How does the path of organisational transformation unfold? One area that we have focused on intensely has been Learning.
Learning Agility is recognized as the foremost competency required in organisations today. Korn Ferry identifies 5 components of Learning Agility. McKinsey has identified 4 cognitive aspects to agility, and there are dozens of other similar inputs that describe and try to capture various aspects of Learning Agility. While splitting up the term may seem unfair, I have at times wondered if we have paid enough attention to ‘Learning’ before trying to get the benefits of ‘Agility’ that are more apparent.

A foundational aspect of learning is the process of acquiring knowledge. But do we know how we know? Is there only one way of gathering knowledge or are there more? Do we have preferred ways of knowing? Do we use some ways of knowing at the cost of other ways of knowing? And what may we gain from adding ways of knowing to our repertoire?
Anahat has invited Matthijs Cornelissen to offer a webinar on “Consciousness-centred knowledge systems and their impact on how we live and what we do”. to lay foundational concepts about different knowledge systems. And we will have time then to explore its implications for learning. If you work in the area of training, coaching or any aspect of organisational or human development, you are likely to find this an interesting perspective.
Warm regards, Mahesh

The podcast discusses the gap between organizational strategy and day-to-day talent activities. Saville Assessments help organizations bridge this gap by focusing on the employee life cycle and understanding their organizational objectives. Watch the video below to learn more about the importance of asking the right questions and understanding the "why" behind the "what" to drive effective talent strategies.
