Leaders need to use a wide variety of perspectives and behaviours in order to be effective in their roles. While their leadership style is framed by their type preferences, they need a way to access all 8 preferences – Extraversion, Introversion, Sensing, Intuition, Thinking, Feeling, Judging and Perceiving as needed. The MBTI Step II instrument offers a deeper dive into the facets underlying each of the 8 preferences. By accessing the specific behaviours associated with these facets, leaders can flex their style to work more effectively with team members who have different styles than their own.

MBTI® Practitioners participating in this session will:

  • Use Step II results to provide leaders greater clarity about their unique style

  • Appreciate the use of Step II results to enhance coaching engagements

  • Practice interpreting challenging Step II profiles
