In 2004, Facebook reached one million subscribers. ‘Fred’ on YouTube reached one million in 2009. Consider these milestones the democratisation of publishing of opinion. These events, signalling the rise of social media, permanently changed brands and branding. All stakeholders could now become psychological stakeholders of brands, because they could make their opinions heard. What the brands said (brand communication) became less important than what the brand did (brand behaviour).
Today, online influencers are forcing MNCs to change their product formulation by exposing the half-truths in their brand communication.
This shift is critical not just to external stakeholders but internal too. Platforms like Indeed, Glassdoor and Monster allowed existing employees to comment on their job satisfaction and management practices, which in turn influences prospective employees.
Now there is proof that organisations that create open, safe spaces leading to a culture of trust outperform the stock markets by many times!
Organisations are always competing in two markets: for customers and for talent.
Creating an inspiring Employer Brand is the shortest route to getting the best talent.
Join us for this exciting and timely ‘Re-Think’ webinar to explore how Employer Branding, Values, and Culture intersect – and how they can become an organization’s most powerful competitive advantage!

Anahat’s ‘Re-Think’ Webinar Series are both perspective builders and perspective shifters. The ‘Re-Think’ webinars will invite speakers to talk on subjects that seem obvious but yet not quite so obvious, about things that we know and don’t quite know enough about. They are for the curious, for the seekers, for those willing to let themselves be challenged by a different perspective. They are short! 90 minutes. An hour of talk followed by a half hour of what got triggered by the talk. They are meant to be conversations of the kind Theodore Zeldin wrote about, “… one which you start with a willingness to emerge a slightly different person”
