Diamond Power Index® Certification Program

Authored by Julie Diamond after 25 years of research on power across sectors and industries, the Diamond Power Index® is a scientifically valid instrument that has been normed by more than 500 leaders from 62 unique organizations, spanning 12 different countries.

The instrument has both a self-assessment as well as a multi-rater component to it. The self-report component provides insight about a leader’s sense of personal power. The multi-rater component measures a leader’s use of power and its impact on others. Learn more

The certification program will incorporate a learning track as well as a practice track; both will run in parallel.

The learning track will be delivered as a combination of virtual trainer-led and self-managed e-learning content. In the practice track, you will be guided to enroll a client for administering the DPI® assessment, interpret the report and provide feedback to the client.

Finally, you will have an exclusive one-on-one session with the trainer where the learning and practice tracks will be integrated. Learn more

Julie Diamond, Ph.D., is an executive coach, leadership consultant and author of Power: A User’s Guide. Julie founded Diamond Leadership, a leadership consultancy that provides innovative leadership. and talent development services, including coaching, consulting, assessment, and training to its global clients. She is also the co-founder of the Power Leaderlab, a leadership program for women leaders. Julie was one of the original founders of the Process Work Institute (PWI), where she designed and led the MA degree and non-degree programs for professionals in the fields of conflict resolution, facilitation, and psychology.

Sheelagh Davis is a seasoned Leadership & Organization Development practitioner and Executive Coach, with experience working in a wide range of organizational,sectoral, and international contexts. She has held internal consultant and leadership roles, most extensively in health care, and also worked externally as an independent consultant. For the past three years, she has also held the role of Senior Coach & Trainer with Diamond Leadership, training and mentoring coaches in the use of the Diamond Power Index (DPI®). Confirmation of nomination

• Full payment of the enrolment fee or a valid purchase order (in the case of an organization sponsored nomination) would be required prior to the certification program.

Cancellations

• There would be no refund of the enrolment fee for any of the certification programs. You may nominate another person to take your place (provided they meet the course pre-requisite requirements). Anahat would need to be informed in writing regarding the substitution at least two weeks ahead of program date. Alternatively, you may choose the option to transfer your nomination.
• There will be no refund for a “No-show”.

Transfer of Nomination

• Transfer to a similar certification program during the same calendar year is possible. Anahat would need to be informed in writing regarding the transfer at least a week ahead of program date.
• No transfer fee would be applicable for the first transfer. A fee of 5% of the enrolment fee would be applicable for subsequent transfers. Any differential in the enrolment fee would also need to be paid.
• Two transfers are possible within a calendar year.

• Details of the design and content of certification programs may be subject to change without prior notice.
• Anahat reserves the right to cancel a certification program for any reason. In the case of cancellation of a program, participants will have the option of transferring their nomination to the next suitable program within the following 12 months.
