Resilience is often misunderstood as toughness, endurance, or the ability to simply recover from adversity. Contemporary research suggests something different: resilience is the capacity to adapt, learn, regulate oneself, maintain perspective, and continue moving forward despite uncertainty, setbacks, and change.
This masterclass introduces participants to the Resilience Questionnaire™ as a practical framework for understanding the behaviours, beliefs, and habits that either strengthen or erode resilience. Rather than treating resilience as a fixed personality trait, participants will explore it as a set of learnable capabilities that can be intentionally cultivated.
The session is open to all and combines self-reflection, experiential activities and an introduction to the Resilience Questionnaire™ assessment.
By the end of the session, participants will be able to:
Understand resilience as a dynamic psychological capability rather than an inherent trait.
-
Recognise psychological strategies that can be used to enhance one’s resilience.
-
Get introduced to the Resilience Questionnaire™.
